VNETWORK CEO and the 12-year journey building a Comprehensive Infrastructure, Delivery and Security Ecosystem
Founded in 2013, Ms. Mỹ Hậu and her team have positioned VNETWORK as Vietnam's leading Cybersecurity Emergency Response and Security Center.
The company holds licenses and certifications from the Ministry of Information and Communications and the Ministry of Science and Technology. It maintains management systems compliant with ISO 27001 and ISO 20000-1 standards, and has earned high evaluations and global recommendations from Gartner, Rapid7, ITSCC, and ITU. With over 12 years of operation, VNETWORK has served more than 2,000 domestic and international clients, including VTV, Thanh Niên Newspaper, ACFC, Vietcap, Hanoi University of Science and Technology, VNG, Hyundai, and Nhất Tín Logistics.

In late November, VNETWORK completed a comprehensive infrastructure upgrade incorporating cutting-edge technologies: synchronized Cloud, CDN, and WAAP infrastructure with NVMe Gen5, the latest-generation CPUs, and gRPC implementation for microservices architecture, supporting HTTP/3 and TLS 1.3. These advancements represent not merely technical updates but a strong affirmation of VNETWORK's leadership position and long-term technology vision in Vietnam and the region.

Confidence in a sector considered "Highly Saturated"
In 2013, at the age of 26, CEO Phan Thị Mỹ Hậu entered Vietnam's technology market with IT infrastructure solutions and launched a groundbreaking CDN content delivery acceleration solution.
By 2015, the company expanded its VNCDN infrastructure internationally, reaching markets such as the UK, USA, Australia, and South Korea.
"We chose to develop a CDN system in a field requiring massive infrastructure, enormous budgets, and direct competition with global giants. There were nights when the entire team stayed up until 2 a.m., debating whether to continue or stop, as financial and infrastructure shortages were evident. It truly tested our resilience, courage to confront challenges, and willingness to adapt," CEO Phan Thị Mỹ Hậu recalled.
Ultimately, VNETWORK pressed forward with the plan. In the early stages, the system faced numerous issues: limited scalability, low performance, and suboptimal customer feedback. Yet, driven by unwavering belief in the chosen direction, market research, and evaluation, the CEO remained committed.
"At that time, I clearly understood the company's vision, and that clarity allowed me to inspire and energize my team. We continuously improved the product, developed clear business strategies, and prepared to face any difficulty. Just three to four months after CDN deployment, the market began recognizing our efforts," the CEO shared.
Beyond content delivery acceleration, VNETWORK has built a large-scale infrastructure and security platform capable of meeting stringent requirements from reputable brands.
With VCLOUD ensuring 99.997% uptime, read/write speeds up to 800,000 IOPS, and flexible scalability; VNIS, a Multi-CDN Web/App/API security platform with 2,300 global PoPs, 2,600 Tbps traffic handling capacity, and an AI-powered WAAP system featuring over 2,400 filtering rules; and EG-Platform, an AI/ML-driven email security solution fully compliant with International Telecommunication Union (ITU) standards, VNETWORK delivers an ecosystem that accelerates the digital economy while providing robust defense against cyber threats.
Vietnamese technology can compete globally on equal terms
Since 2017, VNETWORK has researched and integrated AI into its technology solutions, launching a comprehensive AI/ML-powered email security platform to counter sophisticated targeted attacks. In recent years, the company has deepened research into GenAI models and applied workflow models to product design, development, and operations.
For VNETWORK, AI serves as a central element in operations and solution development, enabling threat prediction, detection, and prevention through an "AI versus AI" approach to combat advanced attacks.
As a result, team productivity and incident response speed have doubled following system upgrades. The company has also secured 200 new clients during this period.
More importantly, over the past five years, VNETWORK has successfully expanded and established strategic partnerships in demanding markets including South Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, and the United Kingdom.
"This demonstrates that Vietnamese technology and expertise can compete fairly on the global stage," the CEO stated confidently.
Cybersecurity risks measured in millions of dollars – Prioritizing customers above all
When asked which single core value she would protect under any circumstances and why, the young CEO firmly chose "Customer-centricity."
She explained that in the digital infrastructure and cybersecurity sector, where risks can cause millions of dollars in damage within minutes, placing customers first means the company assumes full responsibility for their safety.

"When we prioritize customers, we act with the highest consistency and transparency, turning their peace of mind into real value for VNETWORK. If we fail to protect our customers effectively, we lose the foundation for our mission to enhance technological self-reliance for Vietnamese enterprises," Mỹ Hậu emphasized.
